It is an accepted truism by now that the world is becoming
smaller and smaller. More people travel today than ever before.
From spending a weekend in a nearby town to flying clear across
to the other side of the world, we move around with ease and
a great deal of delight (or not). Writing about our experiences
can prolong the excitement and sense of wonder that the
journey brought us. In this writing workshop, we can share
with others, some of whom may have traveled to that
destination and can recognize familiar places and names,
others who have never been there and may like to visit,
if nothing else, vicariously through our writing. Whether
you plan to publish articles or simply keep a personal travel
journal, this workshop will help you improve the descriptive
power of your travel writing.
